The club runs a team in both the winter (October to March) and summer (May to July) Norfolk inter-club leagues, currently in the bottom division of both. Teams consist of 4 or 5 players, ranked 1 to 4 or 5. In a match against a team from another club, each player plays a match (best of 5 games up to 9 points, normal scoring) against his opposite number of the same rank in the team. A season generally consists of home and away matches against each team in the same division.
It takes quite a few more than 4 or 5 players to run a viable team, and we’re always looking for new players of team standard. And coaching and advice is available for those competitive types who’d like to improve their standard up to team level.
We can always put out a second team if we get enough players!
